cd successful this "ghetto skyline" that presents a daweh Congo into a highly hypnotic, with a great vocal, always original, a true master of the spoken word "rasta". l album is the his best of his activities. the sound is very very cool, the new frontiers of new roots. heard much of him in the future, I like a lot. this cd and really advised reggaefans. cd ben riuscito questo "ghetto skyline"che ci presenta un daweh congo in maniera sempre piu ipnotico,con un ottimo timbro vocale, sempre originale ,un vero maestro del parlato" rasta". l album e il suo migliore della sua decennale attivita. il sound accativante non manca, moderno all insegna del new roots. sentiremo molto parlare di lui in futuro, a me piace tantissimo. questo cd e veramente consigliato ai reggaefans

less dancehall, more resonant roots for this new album b. Banton. "Rasta Got Soul" remains a very good album that highlights the lyrics and the song of the artist. There are many influences: these range from gospel to ska of "Little Bit of sorry", rhythms Nyabinghi,soul ..... but no such variety dancehall.le combination abound: Wyclef Jean, and Third World, but do not extra value . a return to roots' roots. these are the best pieces, listen



meno dancehall,piu sonorita roots per questo nuovo album di b. banton."rasta got soul": rimane un buon album che evidenzia molto le liriche e il cantato dell artista. ci sono tantissime influenze: si passa dal gospel allo ska di "little bit of sorry", ritmi nyabinghi.....tanta varieta ma niente dancehall.le collaborazioni non mancano:Wyclef Jean e third world, ma non aggiungono un valore in piu. un ritorno alle radici "roots". i pezzi migliori sono questi, ascoltateli

after 10 years of silence return the musical "aswad" with "City Lock". Unfortunately, the album appears already from the first listen a bit too light, a bit too pop. weak, that overall is flat.
why? maybe a few ideas? identity crisis or producers ungenerous ?.... expected more from the band ... anticipation was so great, but "City Lock" transmits sound too 90's, with melodies / key Rootsy already repeated in the past ..... I hope I am wrong more times, but listening again .... sin ... their skills can not end here ... you will return to the maximum. These are the songs I find best. see below see below


dopo 10 anni di silenzio musicale tornano gli "aswad" con "city lock". purtroppo, l album appare gia dal primo ascolto un po troppo leggero, un po troppo pop. debole,che nel complesso risulta abbastanza piatto. perche? forse poche idee? crisi d identita o produttori ingenerosi?.... ci si aspettava di piu dalla band... l attesa era tanta ma "city lock" trasmette un suono troppo anni 90 con melodie/key rootsy gia ripercorsi nel passato..... spero di sbagliarmi riascoltando piu volte ma .... peccato... la loro bravura non puo finire qui ... vedrete ritorneranno al massimo. queste sono le canzoni che trovo migliori. vedi sotto
